An apple a day
With around 18,400 hectares, South Tyrol is the largest closed apple-growing area in the EU. A travel through the area leads, Amongst others, to the Laimburg Research Center, fruit cooperatives, Christine Schönweger's orchards and to the young entrepreneurs of the "Hoila" cider brand.
