Film director and screenwriter Nele Wohlatz, photographed in her hometown Hannover. She is based between Buenos Aires and Berlin.

In 2016, her film debut "El futuro perfecto" premiered at the Locarno Film Festival. It won the Golden Leopard for best film of the section Filmmakers of the Present.

Her latest film "Dormir de olhos abertos" (Sleep With Your Eyes Open) won the FIPRESCI award at the Berlin International Film Festival Berlinale in 2024.
